About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and is expected to know and follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. The position also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The work involves engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities
