About The Position

This is a child care center teaching role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role also includes mentoring fellow Teachers and supporting the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
