About The Position

La Petite Academy of Lee's Summit is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role includes developing interactive learning experiences, supporting children's growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The teacher will also mentor fellow Teachers and engage in physical activities with children, both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support the center's success.
