About The Position

The Team Lead at La Petite Academy at AtlantiCare promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction accounts for at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The role also involves building relationships with families, mentoring and training Teachers, and creating interactive learning experiences for preschool children. The Team Lead may assume Director or Assistant Director duties when they are absent, including opening and closing the school. The position ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.

Responsibilities
