About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a part-time Team Cleaning Specialist to assist with assigned cleaning tasks and help maintain a clean and healthy environment for employees and customers. The position is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., pays $18.50 per hour, and does not require travel.

The specialist maintains assigned areas, cleans floors, restocks supplies, and collects and disposes of trash. The role also requires following company procedures and safety standards, meeting productivity expectations with minimal supervision, communicating with supervisors and coworkers, providing customer service, and reporting supply, repair, safety, or maintenance needs. Other duties may be assigned.

The work involves moving through the work site and transporting equipment, reaching areas below waist level and overhead, inspecting work areas, and carrying up to 50 pounds. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants. Janitronics provides safety and chemical-use training in line with OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirements.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
• Resupply and restock supplies as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash in receptacles in assigned areas.

• Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
