About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a part-time Team Cleaning Specialist to assist with cleaning tasks assigned by a supervisor and help maintain a clean, healthy work environment for employees and customers. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at $17 per hour. Travel is not required. The role includes cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, floors, and waste receptacles; restocking supplies; following company policies and safety procedures; meeting productivity standards; communicating with supervisors and coworkers; and providing courteous customer service. The position also requires completing other duties as assigned. Janitronics provides safety and chemical-use training in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Requirements

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
Good organization and time-management skills.
Ability to traverse the work site and transport equipment used to complete job functions.
Ability to reach areas below waist level and above the head.
Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas for opportunities and concerns.
Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through the work site as needed.
Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants.
Must meet minimum age requirements.
Attention to detail, dependability, integrity, and flexibility.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Knowledge of English-language structure and content, including word meanings and spelling, composition, and grammar.
Polite and respectful customer-service approach and ability to work cooperatively with others.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
Resupply and restock supplies as needed.
Collect and dispose of trash from receptacles in assigned areas.
Follow company policies, established procedures, and safety and security standards.
Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
Treat coworkers fairly and respectfully.
Communicate with supervisors and other employees.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Report needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and maintenance work to a supervisor.
Maintain the quality of assigned duties and perform other duties as assigned.
