About The Position
These Teaching Assistant positions are available to McGill graduate students registered in an MA or PhD degree program for the Fall 2026 term. Responsibilities include hosting and facilitating discussions with small groups of students, grading assignments, attending lectures, reading course materials, and communicating with students regarding MyCourses and assignment submissions. The positions are within the Department of Political Science.
Requirements
- McGill graduate student with appropriate academic background
- Student registered at McGill in an MA or PhD degree program in the Fall 2026 term
- Previous study in the subject of the course
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of R, LaTeX, calculus, linear algebra, linear and logistic regression, Rmarkdown (for POLI 311)
Responsibilities
- Hosting and facilitating discussions with small groups of students
- Grading of some assignments
- Attending lectures and reading course materials
- Communication with students regarding MyCourses, submission of assignments, etc.
Benefits
