Requirements
- Completion of at least 3 years in a BEng program in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum overall GPA of 75% or higher
- Focus in Manufacturing within Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of Finite Element Method (FEM) and simulation techniques
Nice To Haves
- Experience with DEFORM software is considered an asset
- Previous TA or instructional experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of seminar material
- Student consultation
- Marking or grading
- Examination proctoring
- Attending lectures
- Holding office hours
- Other course administration as may be required
Benefits
- Compensation according to qualifications
- Undergraduate rate: $23.30 per hour (for those without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree)
- Graduate rate: $36.67 per hour (for those with a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree)
- Additional duties compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate
- Flexible work arrangements where possible
