This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for ARTL 4P01: Creating Social Value from Material Culture – D2. This course explores the theory and practice of creating social value from material culture, with a focus on curatorial and interpretive practices in public institutions such as art, human and natural history, and science and technology. Topics include informal learning theory, authority structures and community engagement, audience segmentation and selection, exhibit design, and collections development within social and political contexts. The course format includes lectures and seminars, with 3 hours per week. It is a blended format, with in-class sessions on Tuesdays from 13:30 to 15:00 and online asynchronous components.
