Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the ATTH 5P09: Therapeutic Interventions I course for the Fall D2 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Requirements

• Must be a Certified Athletic Therapist in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA)
• Must have experience or knowledge of the course material
• Must have effective communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to explain subject material to students
• Must be punctual in attending classes
• Must be able to meet appropriate deadlines
• The contract will be for a minimum of 30 hours

Responsibilities

• Scheduled contact time with students
• Preparation of seminar material
• Student consultation
• Marking or grading
• Examination proctoring
• Attending lectures
• Holding office hours
• Other course administration as may be required
