About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the course NURS 5P24, Translating Research into Practice, for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves marking student assignments, projects, and exams, providing written feedback, and potentially invigilating exams and entering grades. Requirements
- Must have completed a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Must be currently registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content and written communication aspects (spelling, punctuation, grammar, structure, organization).
- Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
- Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
