About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for PHIL 2P95 for the Winter term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and involves duties related to a Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator. Compensation is based on qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $23.30 per hour and a graduate rate of $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026). Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The position is subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval.

Requirements

• Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program for or already have completed an MA in Philosophy
• Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
• Punctual in attending classes
• Able to meet appropriate deadlines
