About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for the "Microbiologie alimentaire" (Food Microbiology) course, NUT3507, Section A02 (LAB), during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves laboratory demonstrations, answering student questions, grading laboratory reports, and training with the professor. The work is to be performed in person at the Lees Campus. The expected enrolment is 24 students. The total work hours are 65.

Requirements

• Completed a Master's degree in microbiology or a related field.
• Experience with laboratory techniques in microbiology.
• Excellent command of spoken and written French.
• If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their CV how their academic training is related to food microbiology.
• Must be available on Mondays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory demonstrations.
• Answer student questions.

• Participate in training with the professor.
