About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the HIS2152-A00 course, "The United States from 1877 to 1945", during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves supporting the teacher by grading homework, essays, and tests. The course is delivered in person. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Baccalaureate in History or related field.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
Responsibilities
- Correcting homework, essays, and tests.
- Attending lectures in class and/or online.
- Consulting in person and/or online with individual students.
- Proctoring.
