About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the course HIS2153-A00, "The United States from 1945 to the Present", during the 2026 Fall Semester. The work is to be performed in person at Desmarais Hall. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Baccalaureate in History or related field.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
• Rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.
• Rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after ratification.
