About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the course CMN1148-A00, Introduction to Organizational Communication, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The position is new and will be performed at the Main Campus. The role involves a combination of duties as per Article 4.3.1 of the collective agreement, which may include correcting assignments, attending lectures (in-class and online), consulting with students, and proctoring. The total work hours for the position are 105, with an expected enrollment of 220 students. The work is to be performed in person. The number of hours or positions may vary based on enrollment. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Baccalaureate in Communication or related field.
