About The Position
This posting is for a New Position as a Teaching Assistant (Mentor) for the Fall 2026 semester in the Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology at the Main Campus. The role is classified under CUPE. The specific course is PSY Mentor / Mentorat. The position involves a total of 65 work hours. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a rate of $31.89/hour, while graduate students will be paid at $50.25/hour (2024-2025 rates, subject to collective agreement ratification and retroactivity). These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay. The language of work is English and French. Requirements
- Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
- Current enrolment in the MA/PhD program in Psychology
- Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Must be available to come on campus for any in person duties outlined by the course instructor (proctoring, deferrals, etc.)
