About The Position

Teachers at Spring Valley KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, coworkers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, and describes its teachers and center staff as central to helping children and families thrive.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
