About The Position

Teachers at Spring Hill KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide children with high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. The role also involves cultivating positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Teachers support children’s education and development in a collaborative center community.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children.
• Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
