About The Position

Teachers at Chapel Hill KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that address each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and cultivate positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
