About The Position

Provides a general knowledge of the Canadian Federal Income Tax system as it relates to individual taxpayers. The course includes the tax provisions for calculating all sources of taxpayer income to arrive at taxable income and the calculation of income taxes payable by an individual taxpayer.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in the area of taxation.
  • Recent professional experience directly related to this course.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in the area of taxation.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent.
  • Must be a Regular Part-Time Professor.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA).
  • Master's or PhD degree.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Taxation I course (ADM3345A, Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester.
  • Deliver instruction in person.
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods due to health measures or other reasons.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
