About The Position

The Tasker expedites transactions through the warehouse management system and provides information and resolves issues involving customers, carriers, and warehouse associates. The role may support outbound, inbound, or parcel functions. This requisition is for the weekend night shift: Thursday 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. and Friday–Sunday 5:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. Pay is $20.75 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Zero to one year of experience in data entry and/or dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Use system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
• Work with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts, and damages that cause inventory issues.
• Schedule inbound carriers and outbound shipping by updating appropriate communication methods.
• Generate and use system reports and audit sheets to evaluate shift progress.
• Communicate directly with carriers to ensure seamless physical and systematic transactions.
• Oversee the exchange of parcel shipments from the shipping dock to carrier trucks.
• Resolve data transmission failures and errors with customer IT and procurement teams.
• Interface with IT contacts when system-related barriers arise.
• Ensure complete communication during shift handoffs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
