About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Tasker to expedite transactions through the warehouse management system. The role provides information and resolves issues involving customers, carriers, and warehouse associates, and may support outbound, inbound, or parcel functions. The position is onsite and scheduled for a second shift, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Pay is $20.85 per hour, plus a $2.00 cold storage premium and a $1.00 shift premium. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of warehouse experience is preferred.
Zero to one year of experience in data entry and/or dispatch is preferred.
Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Strong communication, email, and computer skills.
A minimum of six months of shipping or receiving clerk experience.
A minimum of six months of experience using a commercial warehouse management system (WMS), such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
Use system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
Work with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts, and damages that cause inventory issues.
Manage inbound carrier scheduling and the outbound shipping schedule by updating appropriate communication methods.
Generate and use system reports and audit sheets to evaluate shift progress.
Communicate directly with carriers to support seamless physical and systematic transactions.
Oversee the exchange of parcel shipments from the shipping dock to the carrier’s truck.
Resolve data transmission failures or errors with customer IT and procurement teams.
Interface with IT contacts when system-related barriers arise.
Ensure complete communication during shift handoff.
Provide information and resolve issues with customers, carriers, and warehouse associates.
