About The Position

The Task Associate (TA) supports operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on operational performance, teamwork and guest service, and compliance with processes and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures are important. The Task Associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational tasks are completed on time, including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and other store processes. The role includes maintaining assigned areas, merchandising displays, testers, and overall store standards while following company policies, loss-prevention practices, and service expectations. Associates participate in ongoing training and contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates and guests.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and keeping products available for purchase.
Meet task-dashboard compliance and execution goals and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
