About The Position

The Task Associate (TA) supports operational excellence and sales by keeping store fixtures stocked, maintaining cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The associate helps ensure merchandise is available for purchase and contributes to an exceptional experience for Ulta Beauty guests.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned tasks as planned to help meet or exceed the store’s retail goals and keep products available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals on the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Know and follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
