About The Position

The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence that supports sales and provides the foundation for an exceptional guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. It focuses on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following procedures and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes are required.

The associate completes shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, inventory counts, resets, planograms, marketing displays, and other operational work. They keep assigned areas replenished, signed, faced, and supplied with available testers; maintain cleanliness throughout the store; follow loss prevention practices; and provide exceptional guest service. The role requires ongoing training and a flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

• Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.
• One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store retail goals by completing assigned tasks as planned and ensuring product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Support an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Complete other operational tasks as directed.
