About The Position

The Task Associate (TA) supports operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise available and fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following processes and compliance standards. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The associate helps meet store retail goals by executing planned tasks and operational processes, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and related procedures. They maintain assigned areas by replenishing, signing, and facing merchandise and ensuring testers are available. Other duties include completing resets, planograms, marketing displays, and physical inventory; maintaining cleanliness across store areas; protecting company assets; and providing exceptional guest service. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma is preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
Proficiency with basic technology, such as a point-of-sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned tasks so products are available for purchase and the store can meet or exceed retail goals.
Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
