About The Position

The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence that supports store sales and an exceptional guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. The associate focuses on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following processes and compliance standards, with attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The role contributes to store retail goals by ensuring tasks are completed as planned and merchandise is available for purchase. It includes shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, resets, planograms, marketing displays, and other operational work using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices. The associate maintains assigned areas and overall store standards, follows company policies and loss-prevention practices, participates in training, and provides exceptional guest service.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned tasks as planned to support store retail goals and ensure products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate regularly in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store cleanliness and standards across the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.
