Task Associate
About The Position
The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence that supports sales and an exceptional experience for Ulta Beauty guests. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. The associate focuses on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following procedures and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes are required. The associate helps meet store retail goals by executing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase. Duties include completing operational processes such as shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures; maintaining assigned areas; completing merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and physical inventory; and upholding store cleanliness and standards. The associate also supports an inclusive environment, participates in ongoing training, follows company policies and dress code, protects company assets, and provides exceptional guest service. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and coordination throughout the store, frequent standing and other movement, and lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds. Requirements
- Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

- One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and products are available for purchase.
- Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
- Participate regularly in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
- Know and follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards, including the dress code.
- Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
- Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
- Perform other operational tasks as directed.
