About The Position

The Task Associate supports operational excellence and sales at Ulta Beauty by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with a focus on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are required. The Task Associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational processes are completed on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures. The role also supports an inclusive environment, participates in ongoing training, follows company policies and dress standards, maintains merchandise displays and assigned work areas, and helps protect company assets through loss-prevention practices and guest service. The role requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and object handling, frequent standing and other movements, and lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring product is available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and inventory procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Know and comply with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards, and adhere to the company dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
