About The Position

The Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence that supports store sales and an exceptional experience for Ulta Beauty guests. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks. Working with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, the associate focuses on operational performance, supporting peers and guests, and following processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are required.

Requirements

• Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the role’s physical demands, including continuous store mobility and coordination, frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting, and frequent lifting, carrying, or moving of up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.
• One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and keeping products available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Know and follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards, including the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Complete other operational tasks as directed.
