Task Associate
About The Position
The Task Associate supports Ulta Beauty’s operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The associate helps meet store retail goals by ensuring tasks are completed and products are available for purchase. Responsibilities include shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory procedures, resets, planograms, marketing displays, and maintaining a replenished, signed, and faced work area with available testers. The associate also maintains cleanliness throughout the store, follows company policies and loss prevention practices, participates in training, and provides exceptional guest service. The position requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. The pay range is $17.00–$25.00 per hour, with exact pay based on relevant factors. Eligible associates may earn overtime as required by law. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off and health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
Requirements
- Proficiency with basic technology, such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma.
- One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Help meet or exceed store retail goals by ensuring tasks are completed as planned and products are available for purchase.
- Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
- Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
- Follow Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
- Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
- Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
- Complete other operational tasks as directed.
