About The Position

Austin Industries has an exciting temporary opportunity for a Talent Sourcer/Recruiter at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This role plays a vital role in sourcing and attracting top talent for various positions corporate functions, such as accounting and IT, along with some construction field roles as needed. This position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Success in this role depends on a track record of effectively identifying and engaging top talent, along with a deep understanding of sourcing methodologies. This role will report 100% onsite to the corporate office and does not offer remote opportunities. This temporary assignment may last up until the beginning of October 2026.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree preferred or combined higher education with relevant work experience
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, various sourcing tools, job boards, and knowledgeable in Boolean search techniques. AIRS training/certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of UKG/Ultipro Recruiting or similar ATS
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of customer service
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Industries is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in the Construction/Maintenance industry highly preferred
  • AIRS training/certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal hiring managers and recruiters to understand the business needs, role requirements, and candidate profile and define the candidate identification strategy for each position
  • Build sourcing plans in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiters to help streamline processes
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing efforts and innovative outreach programs to attract talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and referrals
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to establish diverse talent pipelines for current and future roles
  • Effectively assess candidates/prospects against requirement to ensure high candidate quality submissions to hiring teams
  • Provide detailed candidate summaries to recruiters and hiring managers during candidate submissions
  • Maintain effective communication with candidates, prospects, recruiters and hiring managers
  • Complete required reporting to track progress and participate as needed in status meetings with key business partners/stakeholders.
  • Share industry insights, recruitment best practices, and new sourcing tools to optimize talent attraction strategies
