Talent Manager (Finance & Accounting, Full Time Contract Talent)
About The Position
The Talent Manager works in a team environment and is responsible for negotiating and developing business with new and existing clients. The role markets Robert Half’s services through telephone, video, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments. It also recruits, interviews, and matches accounting and finance professionals to client projects, contract assignments, and contract-to-full-time opportunities. The Talent Manager manages ongoing engagements to provide strong customer service to clients and candidates, communicates with candidates and offers career guidance, and participates in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half’s local presence.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of business development experience in a metrics-driven environment.
- At least 1 year of success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker environment.
- Prior success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small or medium-sized businesses and cultivating mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
- Working knowledge of current Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a contact management application such as Salesforce.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance department operations.
- Positive attitude and an engaging, businesslike approach.
