About The Position

The Talent & Learning Manager owns the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Zoom’s performance management philosophy, strategy, and systems. The role brings cohesion to the talent cycle across tools, processes, and learning experiences, spanning quarterly check-ins, goal-setting frameworks, talent reviews, succession planning, and the performance technology roadmap. It combines program architecture with hands-on content design, using data and AI to measure, improve, and scale programs. The position is part of Zoom’s Talent and Learning team within the People Experience organization, which connects skills, learning, and growth into an integrated system.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in talent management, performance management, organizational development, or a closely related HR discipline.
  • A proven track record of building scalable, high-impact performance systems that drive individual and organizational success.
  • Hands-on learning and development experience designing and delivering enablement content, manager training, or leadership programs, including the ability to build content directly rather than solely manage vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or iterate performance or talent-cycle programs, including process design, technology solution design, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in daily work and enabling teams and managers to use AI to improve effectiveness, surface insights, and scale personalized experiences.
  • A product-owner mindset, including identifying customers, defining success metrics, iterating based on user feedback, and driving adoption.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior leaders, HR partners, and business stakeholders, with strong communication and facilitation skills for executive presentations and first-time manager coaching.
  • Robust experience using data and analytics to measure program impact, inform decisions, and improve performance-management practices, with a solution-oriented and agile approach in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve Zoom’s performance management strategy and philosophy to drive accountability, employee growth, and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Build and implement scalable performance-management processes centered on quarterly check-ins, including goal setting, performance evaluation and differentiation, continuous feedback and coaching, and recognition and rewards integration.
  • Design and deploy a scalable talent-planning and succession-management process, including talent reviews, high-potential identification, leadership pipeline development, and supporting technology.
  • Define the performance technology roadmap and evaluate, implement, and optimize systems and tools supporting the talent cycle.
  • Develop and deliver toolkits, guides, and learning experiences for owned processes, designed for in-the-flow-of-work use, tied to Zoom’s skills taxonomy, and informed by usage data.
  • Establish baselines and success metrics across the talent cycle, connect performance, learning, and talent signals, provide data-driven recommendations to leaders, and continuously iterate.

Benefits

  • Zoom offers a benefits program with perks, benefits, and options intended to support employees’ physical, mental, emotional, and financial health, work-life balance, and community involvement.
