About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a key partner in supporting Macy's Credit and Customer Services (MCCS) by managing interview operations and ensuring smooth, efficient hiring processes. This role aligns with staffing priorities, tracks candidate pipelines, and provides operational support to enable a seamless hiring experience. Acting as a liaison between the centralized recruiting team and MCCS leadership, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports high-volume hiring while allowing People Leaders and Directors to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role combines strong communication, process management, and operational expertise to maintain organized, consistent, and candidate-focused recruiting practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in sourcing or recruiting, ideally in retail or high-volume environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to serve as a liaison across teams.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency with Oracle and Microsoft Office.
  • A service-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting team and regional success.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willing to travel to stores as needed.
  • Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, candidates and supervisors
  • Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a culture of hospitality within talent acquisition by proactively supporting recruiters, People Leaders and business partners
  • Anticipate the needs of hiring managers by providing guidance and resources to ensure a smooth and professional hiring process
  • Serve as a trusted partner to regional store leadership, facilitating collaboration, support, and problem-solving.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders, HRBP’s and business partners to surface trends, challenges, and candidate flow insights
  • Support MCCS teams by providing timely updates, reporting, and recommendations to drive hiring success
  • Proactively check in with screening and interviewing teams to gather feedback on candidates and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly
  • Organize and prioritize sourcing and recruiting activities to maximize team impact
  • Share insights and trends on candidate flow, challenges, and opportunities to guide hiring decisions
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
