About The Position

Responsible for all talent acquisition functions, specifically geared toward sourcing and selecting job applicants to fill existing position Exempt and Non-Exempt openings within Fifth Third. May also be involved in some Human Capital project work and initiatives. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant recruitment or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous customer service and HR experience preferred.
  • Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks and requests.
  • Excellent problem solving skills are essential.
  • Must be able to demonstrate recruitment networking and creative sourcing skills.
  • Ability to interact well with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Integrity- maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Verbal and written communications skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition/sourcing strategies to proactively attract a well-qualified workforce to ensure hiring managers have a pool of qualified top talent needed to achieve departmental and organizational goals; this will entail day to day management of the recruitment process and a great deal of interaction with hiring managers.
  • Conducts intake sessions with manager to learn about position/opportunity and gain all necessary information about role/responsibilities, department initiatives and competencies to successfully source.
  • Conducts screening interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Screens out those candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications, core values, and skills for the specific job, records reasons for turn down and informs candidates.
  • Refers qualified applicants to respective hiring manager.
  • Works with Recruiting Coordinator to schedule interviews utilizing interviewing tools/guides.
  • Correspond with the candidate on the benefits of working for Fifth Third Bank, both personally and professionally as well as notify them of employment considerations.
  • Collaborate with managers on hiring decisions and work with HC collaboration partners on offers.
  • Ensures that all necessary pre-hire testing for all candidates have been performed.
  • Maintain ATS, ensure that all compliance related documentation is recorded in the ATS, including interview notes, offer documentation, candidates' are appropriately dispositoned.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with hiring managers and HR partners.
  • Seek out and develop positive relationships with internal and external clients to maintain a pool of qualified job applicants.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external employment sources, including graduate and undergraduate placement offices, research firms, and employment agencies in an effort to maintain an effective recruitment program
