About The Position

The Table Games Dealer effectively deals Blackjack to guests in alignment with Grand Casino’s mission, objectives, policies, and procedures and in accordance with all Federal, State, and Tribal gaming regulations. The dealer protects and controls the assigned position, handles player transactions, and helps maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous gaming atmosphere. The position is part-time, with swing hours, and pays $13.06 per hour plus tips. Paid dealer-class training is scheduled November 16 through November 27, from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Requirements

• Obtain a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority and follow all relevant DGRs.
• Participate in a Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures Table Games Dealer Training program.
• Pass an internal proficiency audition demonstrating competence in dealing skills and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Protect and control the assigned position.
• Conduct games according to Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures policies and procedures, handle player transactions, and notify a Supervisor of irregularities.
• Advise a Supervisor of guest disputes or arguments that arise during games.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere and provide guests with a pleasant gaming experience.
• Promote departmental and property-wide promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of position-specific signatory paperwork.
• Participate in mandatory informational meetings and training sessions as scheduled by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
