About The Position

The Dealer Table Games position deals assigned games in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations. The role protects and controls the game, exchanges currency for gaming chips, and accurately pays or collects bets. It also involves interacting with guests to provide a high level of customer service and notifying a supervisor or shift manager about issues or irregularities. Game knowledge must include Craps and Pitch. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year of dealing experience or successful completion of an approved course of study in Table Games.
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming permit.
• Proven knowledge of and ability to deal assigned games; experience must be commensurate with the skill level required for the specific game.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the assigned shift.
• Must be able to reach in front of the body, grip, and hold items.
• Must be able to work in a noise-filled environment where smoking is permitted.
• Game knowledge must include Craps and Pitch.
