The Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing and controlling assigned card games accurately in accordance with department and company policies and standing operating procedures, and gaming regulations. This role involves performing proper calculation of winnings and providing accurate payouts to guests, as well as maintaining and upkeeping gaming tables and equipment. The dealer is expected to create an engaging and positive atmosphere at the table, encourage play, and assist guests with various needs, including selling chips, answering game-related questions, and facilitating service requests. Collaboration with Floor Supervisors is key, involving informing them of table activity, buy-ins, guest needs, and any suspicious activity. The dealer must accept table assignments, assist supervisors as needed, read departmental memos, and stay current on policy changes. They are also responsible for notifying management of any suspicious activity or transactions in a timely manner and attending all scheduled team member meetings and trainings, such as annual Title 31, Guest Service Standards, and other required classes. Maintaining knowledge of and promoting company services, guest promotions, and the players’ club program is essential. The role requires ensuring a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment and adhering to all company and department policies and procedures. The dealer does not provide supervision to other team members.
