About The Position

Deals a variety of table games and receives house collection as needed. The role maximizes Table Games revenue by handling wagers, cards, cash, and chips according to established procedures; provides guests with a friendly and entertaining experience; and maintains game integrity by following game procedures, asset-protection practices, and house rules. The dealer informs players of rules as needed and summons Floor Supervisors for game-related decisions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to work on the gaming floor.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited and/or recognized dealing school and/or experience dealing blackjack and/or various other table games.
• Working knowledge of various table-game rules and procedures.
• Working knowledge of table-game protection processes and basic knowledge of game-protection procedures.
• Ability to shuffle and deal cards repetitively, deal rapidly and effectively, cut chips quickly and accurately, and perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time and work in a smoking environment.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism, appear for work on time, work any shift, and work overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Experience dealing Asian games.
• Experience dealing craps and roulette.
• Ability to deal Asian games, craps, and/or roulette.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive house collection as needed; distribute cards; accept wagers; announce and perform cash and chip transactions; and push, pay, or collect wagers according to established procedures.
• Welcome and interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, provide assistance and information, and thank guests for playing.
• Maintain current knowledge of game procedures, asset protection, and house rules; apply procedures, explain rules to players as needed, and summon Floor Supervisors for game-related decisions.
