About The Position

This position is responsible for providing guests with a memorable experience while protecting enterprise assets and following enterprise policies and procedures. The dealer performs assigned duties while demonstrating the GILA WAY: Greet, Interact positively, Listen actively, and Appreciate guests.

Requirements

• Blackjack and carnival games knowledge, along with experience in Craps, Baccarat, or Roulette.
• Successfully pass a dealing audition.
• Ability to demonstrate the GILA WAY: Greet guests, Interact positively with guests, Listen actively to guests, and Appreciate guests.
• Excellent guest service skills and strong telephone etiquette.
• Self-starter able to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
• Strong written and oral interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have, or be able to acquire within one year, in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to the position.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide excellent guest service to internal and external guests.
• Deal assigned games promptly, courteously, and accurately in accordance with the enterprise procedure manual.
• Ensure compliance with Gila River Casinos and Arizona Department of Gaming Compact rules and regulations, as well as internal controls.
• Remain able and willing to deal for lengthy periods, with significant periods between breaks.
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and courtesy with guests.
• Handle verbal and/or behavioral conflicts.
• Maintain dependable attendance, with extremely infrequent absences or lateness.
• Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
