About The Position

The Table Games Dealer maintains a clean, safe, fast, friendly, and fun environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. The role emphasizes providing excellent service to internal and external guests and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment with a positive, can-do attitude. Dealers work in a fast-paced, team-driven casino environment and may deal games such as blackjack, baccarat, roulette, or craps. A $2,000 experienced-dealer signing bonus is advertised.

Requirements

Experience dealing at least two of the following games: blackjack, craps, or roulette, and working knowledge of novelty games.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
Ability to speak English clearly, listen, and follow directions.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English.
Ability to use chips, cards, and a paddle.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
Ability to add monies and chips, and knowledge of theft techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures, the IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
Knowledge of all facilities available to guests on the property.
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude, and know about special events and promotional activities.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of experience as a casino dealer.

Responsibilities

Deal table games and monitor table monies at all times.
Control gaming cards and equipment.
Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at the table.
Analyze customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
Provide excellent customer service.
Pay wins and take losses.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
