About The Position

The On Call Table Games Dealer deals table games while providing excellent guest service. Duties must be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. The role requires proficiency in one or more game types, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, specialty games such as Poker, and game variations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience dealing multiple table games in a similar resort setting required.

Responsibilities

• Deal one or more game types proficiently, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, specialty games such as Poker, and variations.
• Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions.
• Accurately exchange cash or markers for chips; collect losing bets, pay winning bets, and collect commission based on the game dealt.
• Communicate with supervisors or Table Games Managers about unnatural or irregular play and game disputes.
• Notify a supervisor immediately of mistakes or claims; resolutions are made at the supervisor’s discretion.
• Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results, and other information required by game procedures.
• Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere at the game.
• Provide excellent guest service, stay alert to guest needs, respond effectively to inquiries, and resolve complaints within the scope of authority or refer them to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
