About The Position
Cactus Wellhead is hiring a SyteLine Developer for a position located in Houston, Texas. The role designs, develops, implements, and supports customizations, extensions, reports, and integrations for the Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) ERP system, supporting business processes and business-data analysis. The developer is responsible for developing, testing, and delivering SyteLine enhancements, Mongoose-based forms and applications, reports, and ERP integrations in a timely manner and according to upgrade-safe development standards. The position generally operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment. Travel to a branch or plant may involve potentially hazardous environments, where employees must follow the required safety guidelines. The role requires compliance with company safety, quality, health, and environmental policies and participation in required safety training. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT from a four-year college or university; three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Infor SyteLine development toolset, including Mongoose Form Designer, IDOs, IDO extension classes, user-extended tables, and AES.
- Understanding of SyteLine data structures and core modules, including Order Entry, Purchasing, Inventory, Production/Job Shop, Service, and Financials, as well as multi-site configuration.
- Advanced object-oriented software design and development skills, specifically .NET (C#/VB.NET) development for SyteLine IDO extension classes and form scripts.
- Advanced MS SQL Server (T-SQL) database development and performance-analysis skills within the SyteLine database.
- Experience with SyteLine integration methods, including IDO web services/REST APIs, Infor ION, and BODs.
- Knowledge of upgrade-safe customization practices and SyteLine environment management across Development, Test, and Production.
- Advanced logical-analysis skills and ability to devise effective solutions based on less than precise specifications.
- Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, and related schemas.
- Ability to understand manufacturing and distribution business processes in detail and apply that understanding to SyteLine development projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Specialized computer skills in Infor SyteLine ERP/CloudSuite Industrial, Infor Mongoose Framework, Infor ION/ION API/Infor OS, Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET (C#, VB.NET), SSRS/SyteLine Report Designer, Crystal Reports, source control (such as Git/Azure DevOps), EDI integration tools (such as nSoft EDI Integrator), and MS Excel/Microsoft Office.
- Advanced language, math, and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to meet the physical demands described, including extended periods seated at a desk and working at a computer, handling objects or controls, reaching, talking and hearing, occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds, and periodic walking or standing.
- Ability to maintain sustained concentration on computer screens and work under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- Comply with required safety guidelines when working in the field, at a branch, or in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and comply with quality, safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
- Design and develop Infor SyteLine customizations and enhancements using the Mongoose framework, including form personalization, IDOs, IDO extension classes, user-extended tables and fields, and AES events and workflows.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and views supporting SyteLine business logic using Infor-supported, upgrade-safe practices.
- Build and support integrations between SyteLine and external applications, such as CRM, EDI, MES, quality, and financial systems, using IDO web services, Infor ION/ION API, BODs, and REST APIs.
- Create SyteLine reports, form outputs, and business intelligence solutions, including SyteLine Report Designer and data extracts, to support business-data analysis.
- Gather and refine requirements with end users and business analysts, and recommend standard SyteLine functionality before customization.
- Prepare clear, complete, and detailed technical documentation for SyteLine customizations, integrations, and reports.
- Test SyteLine changes in Development and Test environments and manage promotion of customizations to Production through change control and source control.
- Troubleshoot and debug SyteLine forms, IDOs, background tasks, integrations, and performance issues.
- Support SyteLine data migration, conversion, and validation for ERP migration projects.
- Participate in SyteLine version upgrades and patches, including impact analysis, retrofitting, and regression testing of customizations.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
