Systems Engineering Manager

Credence•Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

About The Position

Credence has an immediate need for a Systems Engineering Manager to support Army PM PNT. The role provides technical leadership and oversight of systems engineering activities across the product life cycle, guiding engineering processes, coordinating technical efforts, managing risk, and advising leadership on decisions affecting performance, cost, schedule, and integration. The manager oversees systems engineering for classified and unclassified PM PNT products, from concept development and requirements through system design, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration, test and evaluation, validation, host-platform integration, and field demonstrations. The role leads technical reviews and engineering coordination, assesses technical readiness, resolves engineering issues, and guides participation in integrated product teams and working groups. The position also oversees integration of PM PNT products with Army platform systems, evaluates existing products and emerging PNT technologies, and provides engineering input on acquisition documents, proposal evaluations, technical data, and requirements databases. The manager supports the Director of Systems Engineering in establishing engineering standards, interfaces, knowledge-management practices, and digital-engineering policy, and presents technical findings and recommendations to support O6-level decisions.
