Copier System Engineer I
About The Position
DEX Imaging is seeking an entry-level, field-based Systems Engineer I to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support copiers and printers (document imaging systems) at customer locations. This is a hands-on technical support role, not an IT help desk or network administrator position. The engineer works directly with customers to help devices integrate into their business workflows and keep equipment running smoothly. Technical training is provided, and the role can provide a foundation for advancement to Systems Engineer II, Systems Engineer III, or Install Project Coordinator.

- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage time and travel locally.
- Clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Install and set up copiers and printers.
- Connect devices to customer networks.
- Configure print drivers and scan-to-email or scan-to-folder functions.
- Troubleshoot printing, scanning, and connectivity issues.
- Provide friendly, professional customer support.
- Document work in the company system.
- Travel locally to support customers in the field.
