About The Position

This role designs, implements, and optimizes enterprise observability solutions across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, services, and operational technology environments. It leads work to improve monitoring, telemetry, alerting, dashboards, automation, and service-health visibility to support operational excellence and faster issue detection. The position partners with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, network, and operations teams to identify observability gaps, resolve complex issues, and define monitoring requirements for new and existing technologies. It also provides technical leadership through mentoring, documentation, standards development, and continuous improvement of observability practices. The position may be filled at the Systems Analyst II or Systems Analyst III level. The level offered will be determined at hire based on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and demonstrated capabilities. The role requires independent work with minimal supervision, coordination of multiple observability priorities, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The work is performed inside, in well-lit, climate-controlled areas, with frequent repetitive motion and constant use of computer monitors. Travel in and around office facilities may be required. Depending on assigned tasks, the employee may be assigned a company vehicle and need the applicable driver’s license. The job is classified as sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time, with occasional standing and other physical activities.
