SYSTEMS ANALYST III
About The Position
Responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting information system solutions that improve organizational efficiency and productivity and support business strategies and goals. Identifies and communicates business needs, translating business requirements into technical system requirements and functional specifications. Assesses whether internal or external solutions are available or whether new solutions are feasible. Maps process flows and evaluates effects on existing work processes and systems, while ensuring appropriate integration, testing, and system and user documentation. Independently troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration. Supports moderately to highly complex business processes and systems, which may require designing or integrating technical solutions across multiple business functions. Serves as a project team member on projects of medium to large scope and high complexity and builds collaborative relationships across multiple groups. May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or five years of information technology work experience.
- Four or more years of information technology work experience.
- Basic analytical, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of systems requirements and technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- CAHIMS (Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) or CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems).
