About The Position

The Systems Analyst III plans and configures moderate- to high-complexity software systems that support University administrative functions, working under minimal supervision. The role may support enterprise and highly critical applications, contributes to process development, creates workflows, and installs, configures, supports, and maintains integrations for vendor-supplied software. The analyst collaborates with campus departments, colleges, customers, and team members to address needs, troubleshoot issues, and respond to questions and concerns. The position also provides guidance and training to other Systems Analysts. This senior role administers and supports University-managed cloud applications, including traditional cloud and SaaS applications and AI platforms such as Anthropic, OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft, and Google Gemini. In coordination with cloud systems engineers, the analyst works with Azure and Google GCP environments. The position independently manages platform configuration, identity and access functions, enterprise licensing, audit and usage reporting, application lifecycle activities, and non-routine technical troubleshooting. It plans and executes approved migrations of accounts, workspaces, projects, content, histories, and configurations; supports single sign-on, automated provisioning, directory synchronization, and API integrations; tests platform changes; and coordinates technical resolution with users, vendors, and University teams. The position is eligible for hybrid work subject to University policy. Final candidates must pass a pre-employment background investigation, which also includes information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
